Recap: P-LO Celebrates New Album “Prime” With Album Release Party In Los Angeles

Jul 20, 2018 , , , ,

When you think of Northern California, you think of Hip-Hop pioneers like E-40, Mac Dre and Too Short. However, we live in an era where Hip-Hop is constantly changing and evolving. With a new wave of Bay Area rappers on the rise, many of them are quickly becoming household names.

Take P-LO for example. The Bay Area emcee and producer has been picking up buzz for a cool minute now but he gained recognition with his 2017 hit single “Put Me Something” featuring E-40.

Today, P-LO is back and with a brand new album titled Prime. The North Cal native stacked up a total of 11 tracks with guest appearances from Cuban Doll, Dom Kennedy, ALLBLACK and more.

The 27-year-old lyricist recently held an album release party in Los Angeles for the project. Tons of familiar faces like ALLBLACK and Guap Dad 4000 pulled up to support the founding member of HBK Gang.

During his listening party P-LO spoke highly about Dom Kennedy and said that Dom has always been someone he’s looked up too. P-LO also described the making of the album as having a baby (LOL).
