Red-Hot Compton Rapper YS & Ron-Ron Team Up For “Street Icons” EP

Compton is home to some of the most famous rappers in the world. While generations have long respected the city for producing top tier talent consistently like Dr. Dre, The Game, Kendrick Lamar, and YG, an entirely new crop of talent is emerging.

By now, most of the world is familiar with Roddy Ricch. However, coming up right behind him is YS a red-hot rapper who raps with the fury of a blazing brush fire.

The young Compton emcee caught the eye of Shoreline Mafia’s manager Jeremiah “Picaso” Aubert after YS viral hit “Bompton”. So much so he proceeded to A&R his whole next project and paired him with Ron-Ron to create Street Icon.

Street Icons features ten songs produced by Platinum Certified producer Ron-Ron, and features an all-star cast of features including Sada Baby, Bandgang Lonnie Bands, Rucci, Big Sad and more.
