The University of Southern California made it official Monday afternoon when it decided to fire its football head coach Steve Sarkisian. USC hired Sarkisian from the University of Washington in December 2013 following the firing of then head coach Lane Kiffin. Over the two years at USC, Sarkisian led the Trojans to 12-6 record going 9-4 in 2014 and 3-2 to start the 2015 season. Reports came out after the loss to the Washington Huskies that Sarkisian had a alcohol issue and may have even been intoxicated during USC win over Arizona State on September 26th then again Saturday morning during practice. On Saturday Athletic Direct Pat Haden placed Sarkisian on an indefinite leave of absence fueling reports that Sarkisian may be on the outs. USC must now face Notre Dame this Saturday with its fourth different head coach over that last four meetings with Notre Dame. The game can be seen on NBC at 4:30/ pt from South Bend, Indiana.
