ShaqIsDope has dropped a new song “Blame Game.” Produced by T-Nyce, the song is ShaqIsDope’s first release of 2021.
On the track, the Toronto rapper touches on the damaging effects of past break-ups and explores themes of police brutality, suicide and alcohol abuse. ShaqIsDope is working on a new album, tentatively titled Life and Times but a release date has yet to annnounced.
Last year, he released a slew of singles, leading up to his project, Dark Days Ahead, the follow-up mixtape since his self-titled 2016 EP. “Blame Game,” reminds listeners how comfortable shaqIsDope is with sharing his vulnerability. Midway through the song, ShaqIsDope is caught in between admitting that he’s not doing okay and almost saying that he needs that one person he lost.
Stream “Blame Game” below, and be on the look for Life and Times, due out sometime this year.
