Swizz Beatz Says Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest “Verzuz” Is “Pending”

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland recently announced a Verzuz Season 2 and a battle between Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest might be happening soon.

Swizz shared the details about the potential battle during an Instagram Live.

“We got Tribe Called Quest and Outkast, pending,” he said. “I wasn’t even supposed to say that. I might have just f**ked that all up. Q-Tip is my brother but that man…whoo! André 3000 my brother but that man…whoo! But you know, we love them and we got patience, and whenever they ready, we ready.”

Swizz mentioned that while Vezuz did entertain people during a pandemic, it’s lead to be something bigger and meaningful for the culture.

“Verzuz is not just something for the pandemic, it’s something for the culture, permanently and that’s what I want people to understand. We got so many lined up, we ain’t even start yet,” Swizz added.
