Earlier today, the estate of Mo3, along with his label H$M Music and EMPIRE shared the new album news for Legend, the second posthumous album by Dallas rapper. The upcoming album is a loving tribute to the singular artist, dropping on what would have been the artist’s birthday.
Along with the tracklist, Mo3’s estate released a new single from the project, “AR” featuring BigXThaPlug & That Mexican OT. The new song is Texas to the core, featuring rising rappers from Dallas and Houston to pay tribute to the late legend. BigXThaPlug, Mo’s fellow Dallas native, unfurls his basso-voiced triplets to salute the OG, while Bay City’s That Mexican OT rolls his r’s as he calls Mo3 the “King of Texas.”
Despite the compelling performance by the youngsters, Mo3 remains the star of the show, delivering a sticky hook with soulful melodies and machine-gun rhymes.
