This year’s theme, “Back to Our Roots,” was an inclusive, all-ages community gathering that included dual stages for dynamic musical acts, thought-provoking art installations, a vast array of local vendors, an assortment of food trucks, and a special Kid’s Zone with a range of educational and sports-related activities.
The celebration showcased an outstanding lineup of artists across two stages, activities promoting health and wellness, and a multitude of engaging pursuits suitable for attendees of all ages. With a remarkable attendance of over 10,000 people, the block party served as an excellent platform for brands to gain substantial exposure and interact directly with a diverse and lively crowd.

As soon as you entered the West Adams Block Party, the iconic big yellow HoopBus immediately caught your eye, bustling with kids and families enjoying a friendly game of basketball, setting a lively and inclusive tone for the entire event.
The Natural History Museum of LA had a booth that provided binoculars for children to peer beneath the surface level and observe fossils in the ground. This interactive experience not only entertained the kids but also educated them about paleontology and the history of life on Earth.
Supporting local businesses is a key aspect of the West Adams Block Party. Small businesses from the neighborhood and surrounding areas set up booths to showcase their products and services. Vendors at the event included Plant Chica,Hint of Moss, Zozos Fresh Juice and much more.
The booth of artist Hippy Blaine was a highlight of the event, featuring a stunning display of vibrant acrylic paintings that captivated the attendees with their color and creativity.
The By Ms James booth was a treasure trove of handmade paper goods, greeting cards, home decor, and handmade rugs, all infused with a sense of family values and a deep appreciation for black culture.
The event also showcased a diverse array of food, beverages, and treats to cater to every palate. Local vendors and food trucks, such as Trap Kitchen Tacos LA, Dorian’s Sabor, and Ichiban Teppanyaki, plus much more provided a wide range of options, from traditional dishes to contemporary favorites. Whether attendees craved Jamaican, African, Mexican, or American cuisine, the block party had something to satisfy all taste buds!

LA Sorbet Italian Water Ice was a hit among the attendees, keeping the crowd cool by serving up scoops of delicious sorbet in a variety of flavors.
