Mj Himself sat down with Trizz and Chuuwee to discuss their new project Amerikkas Most Blunted 3 and how they got to where they are now.
Chuuwee started explaining to MJ how randomly he met Trizz. He said they had only hung out a few times before Trizz asked if he wanted to do a project. Chuuwee said he had already been at his house for 3 days straight just working, working, back and forth, and was just like, “Fuck it!” Chuuwee went on to say that he was in a really weird place in his life, and had a lot of ideas about making a shift in his music career, but didn’t necessarily have a plan yet. The one thing he did know was that he wanted to do something and name it “Amerikkas Most Blunted.” He shared his idea for the title with Trizz and he loved it, and the rest was history!
Amerikkas Most Blunted was uploaded to catapult on March 1st, 2014, and as Trizz put it, “Shit blew the fuck up!” from when they first uploaded it to now they have acquired 10 million streams. “What does that mean? 10 MILLION STREAMS? WHAT. DOES. THAT. MEAN?!” MJ exclaims sounding not only excited, but baffled as well. “Im glad you asked what that means,” Chuuwee replies while putting the finishing touches on the joint he was rolling. “What that means is we dropped a project in 2014 on our own and this nigga uploaded it onto catapult in 2014 and as of today shit has accumulated 10 million streams. With no blog exclusives, no publishing, like the whole system didn’t get involved until number 2. Nobody was involved but the three niggas that were in the room. H made the beats, Trizz uploaded it… some things naturally happen you know what I mean. A lot of shit these days is planned and strategized. That 10 million streams means that, that shit naturally happened.”
With all the success of album one, they decided to drop the sequel in 2016, Amerikkas Most Blunted 2. After their first project they had already gotten the publics attention when it came to the fact that they were talented, but like they said a few times during the interview, things just come naturally with them and AMB2 just came together on its own.
