The soulful R&B duo VanJess drops their latest project titled “Homegrown”.
Raised on the West Coast and Nigeria, the siblings pull inspiration from iconic 90s flavors, like Janet Jackson, TLC and Brandy.
The project features collaborations with Phony Ppl, Devin Morrison, Jimi Tens and Garren.
“It was because our journey up to that point had been really homegrown,” Jessica Nwokike tells Interview Magazine. “It all started in our home, and it was very much between me and my sister—writing all the songs, producing, all that.”
