Singer, songwriter, and producer, Victoria Monét McCant can arguably be considered the most underrated talent in the music industry to date. Along with creating classics like the motivational, body-positive “Ass Like That” and the male-inclusive “Experience” feat. Khalid and SG Lewis, her hit-worthy writing credits can be tied to the likes of Ariana Grande, Nas, and T.I., just to name a few.
Now, after two years of being off the music scene, the newly signed RCA Records artist is back like she never left on her 2023 duet with R&B heartthrob Lucky Daye, titled, “Smoke.”
This new release, produced by D’Mile, Tim Suby, and Yogi, also comes with a matching visual that cinematizes Victoria’s signature funk-kissed, soul-pop look and sound. If you pay close attention, you can even find a scannable CashApp QR Code that possibly alludes to, future singles? Maybe an official album title and/or release date? Fans can only speculate, but we’re all hoping for an immediate follow-up to her 2020 debut, Jaguar.
