Youtube is shaking up television and has announced a new live service for all devices.
“It’s live TV designed for the YouTube generation—those who want to watch what they want, when they want, how they want, without commitments,” according to the video sharing site.
Benefits of it include: live streaming from ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, other cable channels, also including local news and sports. Unlike DVR’s, storage limits don’t exist, and several shows at a time can be simultaneously recorded and saved for up to 9 months. There’s all access to YouTube Red Original shows and movies and there are no contract commitments, all for the price of $35 dollars a month.
