South Los Angeles recording artist Zoe Osama continues to make buzz on the streets and music charts.
Being inspired since a young age with gangsta rap, Osama began to catch on in the early 2010s when he was still a teenager, bringing old skool “bangin on wax” touches to a raw lyrical style and helping to set the pace for the gangsta sound West Coast rap would become known for throughout the decade.
The L.A. newcomer has received cosigns from Snoop Dogg, E-40, Warren G, Dom Kennedy, Hit-Boy and more West Coast legends. Garnering almost 45 million streams in less than a year, Zoe Osama’s star has continued it’s meteoric rise that started with his viral breakout hit “Underrated” and “Underrated” Remix.
His fame grew as he came in contact with various legal troubles, managing to live out his dreams of becoming the next big artist out of South Central L.A.
We caught up with Zoe Osama during Rolling Loud California this past weekend in which he shared his excitement of returning to Rolling Loud for a second time. He also teased the new music that’s to come, including a brand new album.
