Singing sensation Keedron Bryant‘s continues to shine with the release of his “I Just Wanna Live” music video.
The 12-year-old created “I Just Wanna Live” with his mother and quickly went viral. He signed a deal and flew into L.A. from Jacksonville to film the visuals and the video showcase just how talented and moving a performer he is.
It opens with a blunt statement on America’s symbolic rituals of liberty, like the pledge of allegiance and the flag, and the blood-soaked truths hidden just a layer deeper. It sets a perfect tone for the song and the remaining scenes, which offer an array of honest looks at the racist and violent history in America.
Filled with creative and timely imagery that reflects the ugly realities that face Keedron and so many other young black men, “I Just Wanna Live” continues to show why Keedron’s voice is perfect for this moment.
