Kamaiyah has already proved she’s a “Dope Chick” with the drop of the visual for the track, and now continues to build the hype around her Before I Wake project with a music video for “Slide!”
While “Dope Chick” was centered more on an old-school-West-Coast vibe, “Slide” has a 70s theme to it, including the classic disco roller rink as the location. The positivity seems endless during the whole production, and Kamaiyah makes sure to let everybody know that “my shine you can’t block.” She’s got a case of “disco fever” and she has a blast rockin’ the afro to the fullest.
