Mario took to the studio and penned a powerful new ballad “Rewrite It,” aiming to touch today’s generation and remind them of who they are and the power of the collective people.
“Having a voice and talent means nothing if you aren’t using your platform when it matters the most. Sovereignty has to be declared and this is my declaration,” Mario notes when asked what inspired him to create the track. “In the song I talk about being reserved and generations understanding who they are and the magnitude of their power. As an artist, I’m extremely passionate about standing up for what I believe in and using my gifts to reach the masses.”
A song that expresses the need for us to control our own narratives, “Rewrite It” inspires the overlooked to take back their own story and create new beginnings.
