Shoreline Mafia have soundtracked functions up and down the West Coast for nearly a decade. Continuing their hot streak that started with their reunion last year, OHGEESY and Fenix Flexin return with BIDNESS IS BOOMIN.
Spanning 8 tracks, the EP takes cues from 80s R&B, Electro-Funk, and Latin Freestyle, with lyrical and musical references to songs from that era. In particular, the duo leans into their Latino bakcground, sampling beloved Freestyle hits by artists like Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam and Debbie Deb. The ping-ponging patter of GEESY and Fenix fits the sound perfectly, as they deliver party anthem after party anthem with memorably hedonistic bars.
