Tyga Returns With Kyoto Album

Feb 19, 2018 ,

Something different.

It’s been a minute since we’ve received new music from Tyga. Mid last year the “Rack City” rapper took a trip out of the country for a mental & spiritual cleanse. While on his journey in Kyoto, Japan, Tyga crafted his latest project to date, Kyoto.

The album is completely inspired by the Japanese city and comes as a surprise, not only because of its timing. Tyga shows us his sensitive side, exploring different sounds & slowing down the tempo. Kyoto is 14 tracks long with three features from Gucci ManeTory Lanez 24hrs.

The album’s artwork should also be noted because it was done by Hajime Sorayama — a Japanese illustrator known for his precisely detailed, erotic portrayals of feminism. He helped Tyga bring this vision to life that focuses on primal beauty of woman and motivation of man. Tyga shared this message with the album release:

“I been wanting to make this album for a while now but didn’t have the confidence and the story to express my true emotions .I thank all the love and support you have given me over the years. Thru my ups and downs, At My highest and my lowest points. Thru my brightest and darkest hours. This album is me opening my heart to you and I hope you enjoy it and love it as much as I do❤ THANK YOU GOD ALWAYS . Thank You Hajime Sorayama for allowing me to share this experience with the world thru your creative art & my vision.”
