Black Panther — the year’s most anticipated film, hits theatres tonight! But before we head out with our fists balled up high, TDE drops another set of visuals to make sure we’re hyped upon arrival.
“Kings Dead” (delivered through Jay Rock’s VEVO) is standout collaboration from the Black Panther Album between Jay, Kendrick, Future & singer/songwriter James Blake — who doesn’t appear in the video.
Right off the back we’re arrested with Dave Free’s (of the Little Homies) signature visual esthetic as we find the rappers in a palm trees, scaling rooftops and handling business. After two minutes the video gets chaotic, mirroring the track to emphasize Kendrick’s spazz.
