To celebrate his birthday, Kali Shashati released his debut single as an artist titled “Slidin” featuring Yhung T.O., Jakarta Slim and Big $wift.
On “Slidin”, Kali recruited platinum producer Scum Beatz and Flashyassuno to execute his vision for the instrumental. His vision was a steel drum laced island vibe that would be perfect for spring break and summer activities. To add the finishing touches, Kali enlisted three crooners, Yhung T.O., newcomer Jakarta Slim and Los Angeles wave-maker Big $wift. The result, an incredibly vibrant song you can electric slide to, ride to and even hit an island and paraglide to.
Although this is Shashati’s first official debut single as a recording artist, he is no stranger to executing producing, nor releasing quality records. In December 2019, Kali along with business partner Rosecrans Vic founded Rosegrown Records in a partnership with EMPIRE. The two then promptly released ‘A Ride Down Rosecrans’, which featured LA’s best new talent including Shoreline Mafia, WS Boogie, Rucci, Kalan.frfr and more.
