Long Beach producer Corey Cail officially returns to the world of R&B with an executively produced 5-track collection titled Wasted Time with guest appearances from DCMBR, Zacari, and AzSwaye.
The Long Beach native lays it all out in the conscientiously sequenced EP, dissecting the time wasted when navigating love, regrets, commitment, and the trap that is temptation.
“We are all on a clock, we’re borrowing an unknown amount of time,” he said. “Whether we are clocking into work, executing or sitting on ideas, or experiencing the passing of loved ones, there’s just a need to be conscious and aware of our time while we still have control over it. Every second I’m not working towards enjoying what I do or cherishing myself, Im wasting time.”
While he’s touching up on his RnB mastery Cail is fresh off contributing to the success of Empire signees and Los Angeles’ booming Rap group Baby Stone Gorillas.
