According to CNN, a library spokesperson revealed that this campaign, set to conclude later this month, has already resulted in over 14,000 new library accounts being created.
The limited-edition library cards, were provided for free to New York State residents, with activation limited to one card per library for resource checkout. As expected, a few individuals have attempted to sell these exclusive cards online; however, their numbers are minimal compared to the thousands who have eagerly obtained new library memberships, according to Billboard.
