Wara From The NBHD – “Skin Tone” & “Death Match”

With paramount messages emitted through his demeanor and layers intertwined in his lyric arrangements, Wara From The NBHD has been under the culture radar for some time now. After debuting his percipient If Guns Could Speak PSA, the Atlanta-based rhymer resurfaces as he highlights the power of duality with the J.I.D.-assisted “Death Match” and “Skin Tone.”

Uniting with J.I.D. on “Death Match,” both spitters trade off some resolute bars as they voice their combat-ready words; a translucent notion: they can’t be touched. The boys go at it over a hard-hitting Thelonious Martin-produced sonic affair.

Wara then shares an introspective track, where he taps into his deep-rooted appreciation for the skin he lives in. “Skin Tone” is for those who are unapologetically themselves and seek to remain above societal means. The passion-driven poet also addresses the stereotypical bars that imprison many who are perpetually fighting back to pursue their dreams and come to terms with self-love. An anthem for progression; the revolution will be televised. Produced by Wara, Wili Hendrixs and Thelonious Martin; additional guitar by Heavy Mellow.
