I’ve been waiting with bated breath for new music from Ms. Ari Lennox. She’s my favorite artist from Dreamville. And I STILL play her debut project PHO like it just dropped yesterday. Her voice is amazing, writing undeniable and soul, felt.
It’s been almost two years since PHO and eight months since Ari’s last loosie. She teased a song titled “Hopping Horano” back in April that we’re still waiting to receive. Instead, we’re gifted with “Whipped Cream.” It’s a special track that speaks to Ari’s past relationship.
The songstress took to Twitter to breakdown the meaning behind her single, where she mentions her ex and how she got signed to J. Cole’s roster. Check it out below.
