BlueBucksClan Bring Out 310babii at the Garden Amphitheater (Show Recap)

DJ faces the crowd.

On Thursday, BlueBucksClan returned to the stage after their “No Rules” tour. The LA duo took the stage at the Garden Amphitheater in Orange County. A venue that has recently made spotlight for classic acts like The Pharcyde and the Back to Basics Festival.

The show began early at 5:30pm, already having a line past the corner of the building. By 6:30pm, the first performer San Diego’s A1 Beanz took the stage. Beanz had a sound familiar to the coast, and with it he brought the energy to gain new fans.

Around 7:30pm, Orange County’s own Kapri took the stage. The Santa Ana rapper brought with him his team, throwing merch and playing his songs with MoneySign Suede and AzChike. Between Kapri’s set and the main performance, the DJ played West Coast energy. The group of young fans next to me knew at least a minute of every song played between 8pm to 9pm. No one captured the moments best than the snapchat stories of that young group.

310babii performs “Soak City” Remix with BlueBucksClan

Once the night became clear, BlueBucksClan took the stage  All the ideas of stage presence, energy, and backtrack vocals were thrown away next to the plastic bar cups. Most of the energy was carried by the fog machines behind DJ and Jeeezy, and the third person on stage wearing a backwards Pippen jersey.

Midway through the performance, the crowd began jumping to the special appearance of 310babii performing the remix premiere of “Soak City”. Throughout the night’s performance, the duo made consistent crowd interaction grabbing fan’s phones and selfie recording the crowd. Never failing to bring high pitch screams. The team closed out the night with “Walkin’ In”, where fans recited the entirety of the song.

Bluebucks are those performances where presence is all that is needed. A good time.
