Creator of influential Hip-Hop event platform PayDay LA, El Prez connects with Fresno and LA-based producer Professor H for their new album Angels With Dirty Faces.
Accompanied by a hazy and vintage Professor H soundtrack that combines foundational samples and trunk-rattling drums inspired by Madlib and others, Angels With Dirty Faces is one of Prez’ most impactful projects and a true ode to the City of Angels. Highlights include the first slick, approachable single “EyeKnow U” a collaboration with LA Underground King Blu, of Blu & Exile, and the soon-to-be summer anthem “LA is the Center of the World” with collaborators Thurz and DJ Rhettmatic of the Beat Junkies.
