Alternative R&B artist Adrian Javon is one to watch for. With his new EP Adrian expresses deep vulnerability and highlights the dark and angelic juxtaposition, we as humans battle with in life. Never Really Here is an emblem of breaking barriers within self to reach new heights. Adrian’s latest single/visual “All Bad” from the debut EP serves as a self-reflective art piece, which engages listeners in a therapeutic musical session.
“The lyrics I wrote for this project are all honest and true feelings. It was a relief for me mentally to just express my thoughts and experiences. My overall goal is to connect listeners and remind them that we all are going through something.”
Adrian shared with the project’s release. Music is one of his newest endeavors, alongside photography and film. It’s brought a sense of peace to mind for not only for himself but most importantly, for his fans.
The subject matter of Never Really Here oozes a smooth, subtly dark, and honest sound. Hailing from Los Angeles it is safe to say that Adrian is sonically in a lane of his own making dark beautiful magic. Watch and listen below.
