Sep 2, 2021

TDE’s new signee Ray Vaughn dropped his visual for “Tap,” and the storytelling is real!

On Aug. 31, the Long Beach native released his visual for “Tap,” which is a part of his three-track EP Peer Pressure and makes the last song.

The visual goes into a story mode that showcases a hustler’s lifestyle in Long Beach, as he goes through obstacles of vices of drugs, getting money, cutting friends off, and dealing with the police. He mentions losing friends to incarcerations and passing away. Ray Vaughn also reps his city as he stands in front of the 21st and Locust Ave street sign in LB and tells the stories he grew up around.

“I know my city like the back of my hand,” he raps in the single. “Young nigga tryna stack up the bands/Real n****a, had to cut off my friends.”
