King Von was one of his generation’s finest storytellers, vividly capturing episodes of his eventful life with passion and attention-to-detail.
Today, on what would’ve been the artist’s 27th birthday, Von’s family and team share the video for “Demon,” based on an idea and treatment written by the artist himself.
The video depicts many of the situations Von depicts in the lyrics, from police encounters to tragic events in the streets. During his lifetime, Von always had a major role in the visual element of his musicâthe clip for “Demon” ends with a recording of Von describing in detail his vision for the video.
