CAL-A, the founder of Free Bread and P-Lo‘s tour DJ recruits his homie, Iamsu! and Rexx Life Raj for a nostalgic inspired track. “Real One” pays homage to all the real baddies that we’ve grown up admiring over the years. Hence the single’s artwork featuring Lisa Bonet, Nia Long, Selena and Jada Pinkett-Smith. And not to mention Rexx Life Raj’s version of Mary J. Blige’s “Real Love” that serves as the tracks hook accompanied by Lumidee’s “Uh Oh” yard clap. No word on if this track precedes a forthcoming project or if it’s just a jam for the summer. Either way, we’re not complaining. Shout out to all the real ones out there! Listen below.
