Cassidy & Dae Dae Legal Edition

Feb 6, 2018 ,

Is #FelonyFebruary a thing? Whether or not it is, it’s another month of artists landing in a news story featuring their legal troubles.

On one hand, there’s Cassidy. After his arrest for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in 2017, he did not show up for his recent court hearing. The result? Now, he has an arrest warrant on top of two other arrest warrants for previous cases. The biggest downside is the fact that he could’ve cleared all this up had he given the legal system a chance and gone through the motions. Unless he’s raking up an arrest warrant collection, it looks like the New Jersey court isn’t going to let this fly.

But, he seems all fine and dandy. Check out his recent tweet of the drop of new music, and him smoking weed of course:

Well, I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.

Then, there’s Dae Dae who didn’t seem to be having a good “day day” after his recent arrest for gun and drug charges on February 1st.

He decided to take the denial approach for literally everything, since he tried to stash the marijuana after he was asked to pull over, and also plead the 5th when it came to not knowing that the gun in his car was found out to be stolen. The state of Georgia is obviously going to not take your word for it, because well, evidence.

But, he’s sticking to his guns (you see what I did there?) and even took to Twitter to vouch for his innocence:

There you have it folks. At the end of the day, the goal is to avoid and deny. Yeah, please make sure you know there’s consequences to that.
