Rhode Island native Khary announces the release date of his forthcoming project, intern aquarium, with a new single titled “2AM Thirst Ballad.”
Khary’s new single is about sending that “hey big head” or “hey stranger” text at two in the morning and hoping you get a response. Khary explained in a press release:
“The song is an ode to those late nights when you just gotta shoot your shot and see what happens. Living in Brooklyn where the bars are open till 4am and everything is just a train or uber ride away I’ve had many of these. So I wanted to make a playful/epic song dedicated to the after hours booty call.”
Listen to “2AM Thirst Ballad” below and watch out for intern aquarium, set to drop next week, May 17.
